Hair

I need some serious hair help!  I've had the same old hair style for probably 7 years now.  Even when I do try a new cut, I wait too long for a trim and it grows out to that old familiar style that gets me desperate for a new do.  Remember when I went to Cat and let her work her magic?  Well I loved it but somehow it's now back to its regular old self.  Did I mention I wait too long?  I'm considering getting the same cut Cat gave me before but in the end just need something cute + low maintenance [because I'm all too friendly with the hair tie] + hip.  Oh did I also mention I have to wrap that hair tie around my thin thin hair about 5 times?  Yep, so what do ya do with thin hair?  I still don't know?  Suggestions, pictures, requests?

[picture 1 = typical hair day, straight down, bangs to the side,
picture 2 = when i obviously cut my own bangs,
picture 3 = hair obviously done by a professional]

I have been feeling the same thing: same hairdo, wait too long to cut it, then back to same-old. I need something new, too! I think you should go short, chin length with bangs, a little layering to help it look thicker. I have really fine hair like you but I like having it short because it feels thicker. Good luck! Can't wait to see what you do :)

You know what- I think you could totally rock a pixie cut. It would be the perfect low-maintenance cut for summer.

There are lots of cute chin-length haircuts walking around. But not enough darling, daring pixie cuts.

Think about it.

i am with you on this one! i tried to grow out my bangs last year, but after i did, i chopped them again because it was so uncomfortable. i even have pretty much the same cut as yours, too (except your nice brown hair suits it better i think). whatever you end up doing, i might copy you, ok?

ps remember when we were talking about dining chairs a long time ago (it's ok if you don't)? we ended up getting ikea chairs (snille) and they are perfect for our diner table. (they were $20 each.) did you end up getting any?

i second the pixie suggestion. it would look amazing with your bone structure. i know just the guy to do it, too, if you want suggestions.

All--pixie cut??? Really you think I could pull it off? It would absolutely be my low maintenance dream. I'd probably love it so much I would prance around all morning after simply pushing a few hairs around and calling it done. I don't know, I've got a round face.

Melissa--no we still haven't gotten any chairs! We did look at some at ikea but now i'm determined to find some at a yard sale? gotta get looking! And yes, please do copy the hair, would love it. I'll send you a personal picture just for your convenience ;o)

Annie--yes please, more info. requested!

Eek, I'm really thinking about this hair thing.
